Frequently compared to the early lo-fi eclecticist mixtures of Beck, Portland, OR's Blitzen Trapper had already foregone through various genres on its number one nucleotide few records. LED by guitarist/vocalist Eric Earley, the band is similarly comprised of Erik Menteer (guitar, keyboard), Brian Adrian Robert Koch (drums, vocals), Michael Van Rain cats and dogs (bass), John Drew Laughery (keyboard), and Marty Marquess (keyboard, vocals). The band self-released iI albums, a self-titled effort in 2003 and Orbit Rexx in 2005. Uncivilised Mount Nation came out in mid-2007.
